I was watching "Rosemary's Baby" last night and one of the main character's had just lost his contract for a book deal and was counting on selling that book and he also had a job interview coming up. So now the job interview had suddenly become a "white-knuckle, balls-in-a-vise type situation."
That dialog put a smile on my face. I was delighted when he refered to his predicament as a "balls-in-a-vise type situation." It just so happens that I had used C-Clamps on each of a naughty boy's balls previously on the same evening that I saw the TV show. I had been considering purchasing a vise for our next CBT session. I don't think that was a coincidence. I will have to buy the vise now.
