I've been to see a few Broadway plays with spanking and caning in them only to be disappointed. The plays "Spank", "Spanked" and "Venus in Fur" all describe delicious spanking and caning scenes in the dialogue of the play with no action on stage. I guess vanilla Broadway audiences were not ready for live spanking on stage or maybe their legal department advised them to keep hands off.
I was delighted to see real live OTK spankings and beltings in the Off Broadway play "Permission". The play is about Christian Domestic Discipline and how one partner agrees to be submissive to the other. Maybe a dose of religion makes it easier for vanilla audiences to accept domestic discipline. The NY Times says, In "Permission," Robert Askins pairs romance and spanking. I certainly agree and urge you to get tickets right away. The plays last performance is next week.
